Small Ceramic Dip Bowls - Hand-painted Stripes various colors

Fall in love with this pretty little bowl, with a floral design and beautiful yellow stripes. It is hand-painted in Portugal by a group of wonderful women, so each bowl has a unique imprint from the brushstrokes of the hand that painted it. Every single bowl is therefore absolutely unique, and we find that very charming!First, the clay arrives in large tubes and is then machine-cut into smaller pieces. These pieces are shaped using a mold called a "biscuit." Then, the shaped pieces are fired in an oven for 9–10 hours at 1050 degrees, followed by a day of drying. After drying, they are carefully wiped by hand with a sponge to ensure a smooth surface. After another day of drying, each piece is carefully hand-painted and glazed. They are then fired again in an oven, this time at 1030 degrees for 9 hours. This process can be repeated several times depending on the design.

Finally, a logo is stamped onto the finished product, which then undergoes quality control before being packaged for distribution.
